PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer easy for being normally discharged even in the case where a high voltage is applied between electrodes.SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizer comprises: a discharge electrode for causing a discharge a counter electrode spaced in a predetermined direction from the discharge electrode a liquid supply mechanism for supplying a liquid to the discharge electrode and an application part for applying a voltage so that the discharge may occur between the discharge electrode and the counter electrode.
