COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE ORTHODIPHENOL DERIVATIVE OF A METAL DERIVATIVE OF MANAGANESE (III) A (VII) AND AN ALKALINIZING AGENT FOR COLORING KERATIN FIBERS
Method for dyeing keratin fibers, comprises treating the fibers with: (a) one or more orthodiphenol derivatives; (b) one or more metal derivatives comprising metal salts, metal complexes, metal oxides, metal oxanions, and/or their supported forms, where the metals are manganese (III) to manganese (VII) and (c) one or more alkalizing agents, provided that the pH at the end of the process is alkaline, greater than 7, preferably 8-10.5. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic composition for dyeing keratin fibers containing: (a)-(c); and optionally (d) one or more chemical oxidizing agents.
