PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein visualization device which is compact, light weight, and excellent in operability.SOLUTION: A vein visualization device 1 according to the present invention is a non-contact type vein visualization device comprising: an irradiation part 10 for irradiating a puncture site 901 with light containing a wavelength component of 900-1500 nm； an imaging part 20 comprising an infrared transmission filter 21, receiving the light which the infrared transmission filter 21 has transmitted and imaging the puncture site 901； image processing means 30 for performing processing of extraction of a vein from an image captured by the imaging part 20； a display part 40 for displaying the image which is processed by the image processing means 30； and a power supply part (not shown in the figure).
