A process (100/200/300/400) for extraction of curcuminoids is disclosed. The process (100/200/300/400) extracts curcuminoids finely powdered turmeric as a raw material using solvents such as supercritical fluid and acetic acid with a time tested human use that leaves no trace in the extract after conversion to the gaseous state. The process (100/200/300/400) results in extraction of solvent and heavy metal free nutraceuticals such as curcuminoids which may also be in a nanoparticle form. Figure 1
