PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effervescent bath agent of a compression-molding type, the agent that shows excellent preservation stability of formulation and generates excellent fragrance immediately after being dissolved in bathing water, or makes a bathing person feel good fragrance immediately after bathing.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an effervescent bath agent of a compression-molding type, the bath agent comprising the following components (a) to (d): (a) terpene type perfume (b) liquid paraffin (c) carbonate (d) succinic acid and/or fumaric acid.
