PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which gives excellent touch and a feeling of cushioning to a wearing person, hardly causes crushing of formed projecting portions, is excellent in absorption performance of excretory substances such as feces, urine, and sweat, keeps the above functions, and is excellent in, in particular, absorption and cover-up performance of soft feces containing a lot of liquid.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 10 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 1 an absorbent body 3 and a liquid-impermeable back sheet 5. The top sheet 1 includes an upper layer a lower layer the projecting portions projected toward the upper layer while holding cavities between both layers. The upper layer has a first layer on the upper side and a second layer on the lower side, wherein a fiber constituting the first layer is thinner than that constituting the second layer.
