PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device facilitating wearing and, when wearing, giving a wearer little sense of incompatibility.SOLUTION: The walking assist device comprises: a lower part including superior iliac spine parts, and lower-part non-stretchable string-like bodies for connecting the superior iliac spine parts to knee parts located at same side in the front/back/left/right of a human body and an upper part including upper-part string-like bodies for connecting the superior iliac spine parts to upper-body rear parts extending from the shoulders to the upper arms in the back surface side of the human body.
