PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask fitted to the face of a user to improve wearing feeling, and suitable for throwing away after using once.SOLUTION: A mask 10 is configured of a mask body 12 with a shape and a size for covering the nose and mouth of a user, and a string 22 provided along an upper edge 14 thereof. The string 22 has flexibility and penetrates the mask body 12 on a plurality of places so as to be alternately exposed on a front face 12A and a rear face 12B of the mask body 12. Ear hook parts 26 and 28 are formed by fastening both end parts 24A and 24B of the string 22 to the end part of a lower edge 16. Slacks 14A-14E of the mask body 12 are formed on both sides with the string 22 as a boundary by shrinking the upper edge 14 of the mask body 12 along the string 22 provided on the upper edge 14.
