PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester which can retain its threshing performance even if the harvester running speed rises.SOLUTION: A combine harvester comprises a running vehicle body, a clipping portion 93, a handling drum 16, a plurality of handling teeth 22 and a grain culm carrier mechanism 11. The handling teeth 22 are disposed around the handling drum 16. The grain culm carrier mechanism 11 receives the grain culm clipped by the clipping portion 93, and transports the received grain culm along the axis line 17 of the handling drum 16. The clipping speed of the grain culm by the clipping portion 93 and the carrying speed of the grain culm by the grain culm carrier mechanism 11 vary in association with the running speed of the running vehicle body. The handling teeth 22 are so formed in a flat shape substantially parallel to the axial line 17 of the handling drum 16 as to become thinner toward the leading end.
