PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that enables an excellent observation image to be acquired by effectively using a reflection light from a subject while preventing halation without deteriorating a reflection surface.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes a tip constitution part 35 for holding an imaging unit 45 (an objective lens unit 46) and an illumination lens unit 50 at the tip 21 of an insertion part 11, a transparent tip cover 30 provided so as to cover the tip constitution part 35, and a reflection part 60 arranged between the tip constitution part 35 and the tip cover 30 for reflecting a light that penetrates the tip cover 30 and is incident toward the tip constitution part 35.
