The present invention relates to a method for preparing a fishing net having an antifoulant function, and a fishing net prepared by the method. The present invention is to provide a technique of preparing a fishing net by using a metal thread-mixed fiber thread (1) including a composite fiber thread (2) and a metal thread (3), instead of a typical fishing net made of a thread prepared only of composite fibers such as nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester, so as to impart the fishing net with a semipermanent antifoulant function and durability, wherein the metal thread-mixed fiber thread is prepared by mixing a metal thread (3) prepared with components having an antifoulant property such as copper, lead and zinc with the composite fiber thread at a certain ratio.
