PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent composition suppressing foaming and easily defoaming generated foam in mixing a first layer and a second layer, and a use method thereof.SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent composition has a first layer and a second layer. The first layer and the second layer are mixed when the hair treatment agent composition is used. The hair treatment agent composition contains at least one kind of cationic surfactants selected from dilauryldimethylammonium salts, dicocodimethylammonium salts, dicetyldimethylammonium salts and distearyldimethylammonium salts. The content of the cationic surfactant is 0.003-2 mass%. The hair treatment agent composition contains a sequestering agent, ethanol and an oily component. The content of the sequestering agent is 0.001-1 mass%.
