PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distal end structure for an endoscope insertion section by which a fluid discharged from a nozzle can be widely and vigorously jetted to an objective lens, and also, the projecting amounts of the objective lens and the nozzle from the distal end surface of the insertion section can be suppressed as much as possible.
SOLUTION: In the endoscope having an observation window L2a and nozzles 25 and 27 which jet the fluid W to the observation window from openings 26 and 28 facing the observation window side on the distal end surface 16 of the insertion section 12, on the distal end surface, slopes 23 and 24 are formed which form an annular shape to surround the nozzles, and of which the recess amounts become larger as going to the inner peripheral direction, and at least certain parts of the openings of the nozzles are made to face the slopes.
