PURPOSE: A tree protecting plate is provided to offer a clean look to roads without changing the width of the road or interfering with the growth of trees. CONSTITUTION: A tree protecting plate comprises the following: a frame(14) forming the skeleton of the plate, for mounting water permeable blocks(12)； a water permeable curb stone touching the outer edge of the frame for supporting； a tree growing unit(15) installed on the center of the frame； and a water permeable plate(13) with a vegetation space for passing through air and water, extended from the space among the permeable blocks mounted on the frame.본 발명은 수목보호판에 관한 것으로서 종래의 수목보호판이 수목이 자라기 위하여 일정한 공간(식생공간)을 점유하게 되는데 본 발명에서는 수목이 자라기 위해 필요한 공간위로 투수블록을 설치할 수 있는 프레임과 프레임을 지탱해주는 경계석 또한 투수 경계석을 사용하여 보도와 미관상 재료를 통일화 하고 수목을 덮는 땅 위쪽에 일정한 공간을 띄워 수목주위로 투수블록을 덮어도 수목이 자라는데 전혀 지장이 없도록 함으로써 도로의 사용공간을 넓히도록 하였다. 또한, 주철을 사용한 기존의 수목보호대는 수목이 생장할때 수목의 뿌리가 올라오거나 흙속에서 뿌리가 굵어져 지반이 올라와 수목보호대가 뒤틀리는 현상이 생기지만 본원 발명에의한 수목보호판은 투수블록이 누르기 때문에 이러한 현상이 생기지 않으며 도로에 깔린 기존블록과 비슷한 느낌의 블록을 사용함으로써 도로가 넓어보이고 깔끔하게 미화된다.
