Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbandanordnung und ein Verfahren zum Behandeln einer Wunde eines menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers mittels Unterdruck. Die Verbandanordnung umfasst einen Absorptionskörper zum Absorbieren von Wundsekret, wobei der Absorptionskörper zum Einsetzen in einen Hohlraum der Wunde ausgebildet ist. Weiterhin ist ein Trennelement vorgesehen, welches zwischen der Wunde und dem Absorptionskörper angeordnet ist. Weiterhin sind ein Abdeckelement, welches zum weitgehend luftdichten Abdecken der Wunde mit dem Absorptionskörper ausgebildet ist, und eine Anschlusseinrichtung vorgesehen, welche zum Anschließen einer Unterdruckquelle an dem Abdeckelement angeordnet ist.
