PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants-type absorbent article which presents an appearance of outer clothes and allows the disposal of only an absorbent body in changing the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An underpants-type absorbent article 1 includes: an outside cover 2 having an annular waist band part 2A which is located around a waist of a wearer in a worn state and has elasticity in a circumferential direction and an absorbent body 3 located in a crotch of the wearer in a worn state. The outside cover 2 has a non-elastic extending part 2B that extends downward from a lower end of the annular waist band part 2A. The outside cover 2 and the absorbent body 3 are attachable to and detachable from each other.
