PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting part for a rice transplanter equipped with an extension seedling stand having sufficient rigidity and excellent durability while controlling a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: This planting part comprises a seedling placing stand and the extension seedling stand for raising the height of the seedling placing stand. The extension seedling stand is constituted of a placement part for placing seedlings and at least two reinforcement ribs for reinforcing the placement part at its back. A fixing part for fixing the extension seedling stand to the seedling placing stand is made into a shape for bringing the reinforcement ribs into contact with the top part of the seedling placing stand and a receiving part projecting from the top part to the back side is formed.
