PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a viscous cosmetic or a medicinal agent capable of maintaining lysozyme chloride activity, stably keeping the state of a gel, an emulsion or a cream for a long time and easily suppressing reduction of viscosity during application or preservation. SOLUTION: This method for producing the viscous cosmetic or the medicinal agent containing the lysozyme chloride is to produce the gel-like, the emulsion- like or the creamy viscous cosmetic or the medicinal agent by making an oil phase and/or an aqueous phase include a cationic and/or a nonionic surfactant and an inorganic thickener as a thickener, and in case of the gel, further a chelating agent and antioxidant before mixing them, when emulsifying by mixing the oil phase with the aqueous phase, or after emulsifying, controlling pH to 3.5-6.5 and subsequently mixing lysozyme chloride with the emulsion.
