PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing, by a low temperature emulsification method, a hair-dyeing emulsion composition which exhibits viscosities in suitable ranges by proper post-increases of the viscosities, when charged in a container and when coated on hair, and in which the variations of the viscosities of the hair-dyeing emulsion compositions constituting series commodities containing different dye contents can be prevented.SOLUTION: The method for producing the hair-dyeing emulsion composition includes a process for mixing a phase (A) wherein a dye selected from oxidized dyes, acidic dyes and basic dyes is dispersed or dissolved in water, with a phase (B) containing one or more 16 to 22C linear higher alcohols under the temperature conditions of a low temperature emulsification method, and adding a homopolymer or copolymer or terpolymer containing dimethyldiallylammonium chloride as a monomer to at least one of the phase (A), the phase (B), and a mixed phase (A)/(B).COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】適正な後増粘により容器充填時と毛髪塗布時にそれぞれ好適な範囲の粘度を示し、かつ染料類の配合量が異なるシリーズ商品を構成する染毛用乳化組成物間での粘度のバラツキを防止できる染毛用乳化組成物を、低温乳化法によって製造する。【解決手段】酸化染料、酸性染料、塩基性染料から選ばれる染料が水中に分散又は溶解した(A)相と、炭素数が16~22の範囲内である直鎖状高級アルコールの1種以上を含有する(B)相とを低温乳化法の温度条件下で混合する工程を含み、この工程において(A)相、(B)相、(A)/(B)混合相の少なくとも1相に対して、ジメチルジアリルアンモニウムクロリドをモノマーとして含むホモポリマー、又はコポリマーもしくはターポリマーを添加する。【選択図】なし
