To provide a detergent composition having a high detergent effect while being excellent in foamability, foam quality and foam sustaining properties and also free of the sliminess characteristic of a polymer and excellent in giving a moisture feel for skin and stiffness-free and willowy-natured hair after use.
SOLUTION: The detergent composition contains the following components (a)-(c): (A) a polymer compound which is a block or graft copolymer in which a plurality of polymer moieties having a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of > 0° C and < 37° C and hydrophilic polymer moieties are linked and the aqueous solution of which has the sol-gel transition temperature at a temperature of > 0° C and < 37° C (B) an amino acid type anionic surfactant and (C) water.
