PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detection system having a simpler and more compact structure, having a self electric power generation function, and capable of more accurately detecting leakage of a liquid, etc.SOLUTION: In the liquid detection system 10, a sensor structure 11 includes: a detection part 21 having a first surface 15, a second surface 16 located on the opposite side from the first surface and an opening 14 for detecting the liquid located on the first surface 15 and an electric power generating part 22 having a water battery with the liquid as a catalyst.
