A suction force adjustment apparatus for ultrasound examination according to the invention is a suction force adjustment apparatus used for ultrasound examination of an observation target by transmitting ultrasound to the observation target and receiving the ultrasound reflected from the observation target. The apparatus includes: a suction force change unit configured such that one end is configured to be connected to a suction pump and the other end is provided at a portion of a passage leading to a contact portion with the observation target, and configured to change suction force of the suction pump on the other end; and a damper unit configured to suppress a change in the suction force by the suction force change unit.
