The front section comprises a 5 towable chassis, and side walls between which there is a front wall and a floor able to be angled for gravitational crop residue flow from the front section during dumping of the crop residue. The rear section comprises side walls between which there is a floor, and a rear wall. The front and rear sections are pivotable relative to each other in a clamshell like manner such that the rear section is arranged to be pivoted rearwardly and upwardly in an 10 arc to open the receptacle to dump the crop residue contained therein under gravity. The rear section is configured to close the opening so as to contain the crop residue within the receptacle.
