An assembly (1) for heat treating an area (60) of biological tissue, including energy generating means (20) for supplying energy to a focal point (P) in said area (60), means (10) for measuring the spatial temperature distribution in said area, and a control unit (40) for controlling the movement of the focal point (P) along a predetermined path to give a spatial temperature distribution consistent with a pre-set distribution, characterised in that, as the focal point (P) moves along the path, the control unit (40) controls the distribution of the energy provided by the generating means (20) depending on the measured temperature distribution and the pre-set distribution, in accordance with a control law including a proportional-integral-derivative term.Linvention concerne un ensemble (1) de traitement thermique dune région 60 dun tissu biologique comprenant : des moyens générateurs dénergie (20) pour fournir de lénergie en un point focal (P) dans la région (60), des moyens (10) pour mesurer la distribution spatiale de température dans ladite région, une unité de contrôle (40) apte à commander le déplacement du point focal (P) le long dune trajectoire prédéterminée en vue dobtenir une distribution spatiale de température conforme à une distribution de consigne, caractérisé en ce quau cours du déplacement du point focal (P), lunité de contrôle (40) est apte à commander la répartition dénergie fournie par les moyens générateurs (20) le long de la trajectoire, en fonction de la distribution de température mesurée et de la distribution de consigne, selon une loi de régulation comprenant un terme Proportionnel-Intégral-Dérivé.
