PURPOSE: A production method of potable water for livestock and additive composition for forage using bittern is provided to reinforce a growth function of livestock and to improve immunity to diseases mixing red clay powder and illite powder with vegetables or grains. CONSTITUTION: A seawater mineral additive for potable water of livestock is produced drying a mixture in which more than a 5 percent of mineral clay and more than a 5 percent of vegetable ingredients are immersed in bittern. The bittern is by-product generated after making concentrated salt water with more than a 15 degree of salinity, which seawater is evaporated and concentrated, bay salt, machine salt, or white salt.
