PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a diagnostic index showing an obese state of a human being.SOLUTION: Cross-sectional images Gu showing at least one cross section on the head side in an abdominal region Hb of a subject H and cross-sectional images Gd showing at least one cross section on the leg side in the abdominal region Hb are used to acquire a dimension ratio Pud of a subcutaneous fat region and a dimension ratio Oud of a visceral fat region in regions mutually opposing in the abdominal region Hb.
