<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the flatness in a bending part of a distal end portion of a catheter with a smaller number of parts and less cost. <；P>；SOLUTION: The catheter includes: an inner tube member 4a having a tubular body part and a flat part which projects from the proximal end side of the body part in the axial direction and whose cross-section orthogonally crossing the axis is flat； an outer tube member 4b covering the inner tube member 4a； an operation wire which is slidably inserted into a first lumen 20, and whose one end is fixed on the distal end side from the flat part； and a control part connected to the other end of the operation wire and capable of tensibly operating the operation wire.
