PURPOSE: A shovel for digging soils is provided to reduce the whole weight thereof and to improve the durability thereof. CONSTITUTION: A shovel for digging soils comprises a shovel main body, a hollow pipe(20), a first welding unit(24), and a second welding unit(25). The shovel main body comprises a semi-circular handle groove(10), a step unit(11), and a shovel blade unit(12). The handle groove is formed in the upper center of the shovel main body. The stage unit is formed in the upper right and left edge of the shovel main body. The hollow pipe is inserted into the handle groove of the shovel main body. In the front side of the shovel main body, the first welding unit is formed. In the back side of the shovel main body, the second welding unit is formed.본 발명은 굴토용 개량 삽에 관한 것이며 삽 본체에 돌출되는 자루홈을 해소하여 소재를 절감하고, 삽 본체의 제조공정을 줄일 수 있도록 하고, 삽 본체와 삽자루를 용착으로 제조하여 경량이 되게 하고 양산할 수 있도록 하기 위한 목적이다.본 발명은 삽 본체와 중공관체로 된 삽자루로 구성되는 굴토용 삽에 있어서 삽 본체는 상부 중앙에는 자루홈을, 좌우변에는 발판부를, 하방에는 삽날부를 구비하여 구성하면서 자루홈이 상부로 돌출되지 않도록 한 삽 본체와, 상기 삽 본체의 자루홈에 삽자루의 중공관을 끼워 전면에는 제1용착부를, 후면에는 제2용착부를 형성하여서 구성된다.상기와 같은 본 발명은 삽 본체의 소재인 금속판재를 삽 본체 형상으로 절단할 때 자루홈이 돌출되지 않아 금속판재를 획기적으로 절감할 수 있고, 성형작업을 1공정으로 수행할 수 있어 양산제조할 수 있게 되고, 상기 삽 본체에 삽자루의 중공관을 끼워 정면과 후면에 용착부를 구비하므로 견고한 굴토용 삽을 제조할 수 있는 특징이 있다.
