The curcumin derivatives according to the present invention have high binding affinity with amyloid plaque and excellent fluorescence properties to specifically bind to amyloid plaque, and more over do not use a radioactive indicating agent to have an advantage of easy visualization to be useful in diagnosis of diseases relating to amyloid plaque.본 발명은 커큐민 유도체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용되는 염을 포함하는 아밀로이드 플라크 검출용 조성물, 아밀로이드 플라크 관련 질환 진단용 조성물 및 아밀로이드 플라크 검출방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 커큐민 유도체는 아밀로이드 플라크와의 결합 친화도가 높고 형광특성이 뛰어나, 아밀로이드 플라크를 특이적으로 결합할 수 있으며, 또한 방사성 시약을 사용하지 않아 영상화가 용이한 장점이 있어, 아밀로이드 플라크 관련 질환의 진단에 있어서 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
