PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ampule having a favorable handling property and suppressing a careless fracture of a fracture section in a distribution process.

SOLUTION: This ampule includes a bottomed cylindrical container body 11 for storing a content C, a head section 12 provided consecutively from a mouth section 23 of the container body 11 via the fracturable fracture section 28 and closing the mouth section 23, the over cap 13 detachably mounted to the container body 11 and covering the mouth section 23, the fracture section 28 and the head section 12, wherein a top plate section 32 of the over cap 13 has a tubular portion 36 extending towards the inside along the axial direction of the container body 11, opened to the top plate section 32 and having an external diameter being insertable into the mouth section 23, and the over cap 13 is configured to move toward the inside along its axial direction with respect to the container body 11, with its mounted to the container body 11 after the head 12 is detached therefrom.
