PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic substance container capable of efficiently volatilizing volatilization components from bead-like aromatic, and securing sufficient smell duration by suppressing the volatilization of the volatilization components.SOLUTION: The aromatic substance container includes a container body 11 housing an aromatic 12 in the shape of many beads, and a cover body 14 provided with a front surface plate 17 disposed while covering the opening surface 11a of the container body 11. The cover body 14 includes an interval keeping locking portion 20 for arranging the front surface plate 17 in the state of keeping an interval 21 with the opening surface 11a, by locking the flange 18 of a recessed box portion 13 and detachably mounting the cover body 14 integrally on the container body 11. The aromatic container 10 is supported by a mounting side portion 22 and the bottom peripheral edge part 13b of the recessed box portion 13 for instance, and is used by being mounted on a mounting surface 50 in the state of turning the front surface plate 17 to the side and disposing a box side air hole 16 at an upper part. Air flowing into the back side of the front surface plate 17 is introduced from the sheet side air hole 15 of the opening surface 11a to the inside of the container body 11.
