The invention relates to a system and procedure for quality assessment of hearing. It is based on computer and Internet technology that allow the implementation and use of various forms of HINT tests for evaluation of the quality of hearing in remote subjects outside the diagnostic centres. The system consists of a server containing the database of stimuli and the database of clients, a PC computer containing the application that allows the full communication with the patient through the graphical user interface and audio interface and the headphones or speakers for presentation of stimuli to the patient. The process of quality assessment of hearing is semiautomatic and the task of the patient is to listen to stimuli (words).and mark correctly identified stimuli (words). The system automatically puts the recognized word level into correlation with the level of hearing quality, records the test results and informs the patient about the quality of his hearing.
