PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of producing a composition comprising mastic gum extract for use in the treatment of an impaired nervous function.SOLUTION: A composition comprising an effective amount of the isolated acidic fraction of a mastic gum and a carrier is provided.
