The lumen (2) comprises a relatively thin lumen part (2a), a relatively large lumen part (2b) and a tapered lumen part (2c). The device (1) further comprises a cleaning member (10) arranged in a relatively large lumen part (2b). The cleaning member (10) has a cleaning surface (12 a, 12 b) that can contact the elongated medical device (C) when the long medical device (C) passes through the relatively large lumen portion (2 b).
