PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter with a planting tool capable of suitably opening a hole in mulching film covering ridges in order to solve the problem that since the planting tool of a conventional seedling transplanter has an almost circular horizontal cross section at its pointed end, plunging the planting tool into the soil surface of a ridge covered with mulching film causes the mulching film to be split irregularly or excessively largely or wrapped inward when the planting tool is inserted deep into the ground.SOLUTION: In a planting tool (28) composed of a left side member (109L) and a right side member (109R), in order to solve the problem, the dimension in the left/right direction is smaller than the dimension in the forward/backward direction when the two members are touched together, and specifically the bottom parts of the left side member (109L) and the right side member are provided with flat plate parts (400) along the forward/backward direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の苗移植機における植付具は、尖った先端の水平断面は略円形をしていた。このような植付具をマルチフィルムで覆った畝の土壌面に突入させた場合、植付具が土壌面から地中深く挿入される際にマルチフィルムの裂け方が不規則になり、マルチフィルムを巻きこんだり、不必要に大きく避けたりするという問題があった。よって発明が解決しようとする課題は、畝を覆ったマルチフィルムに適切に穴を開けることができる植付具を有する苗移植機を提供することである。【解決手段】植付具(28)を構成する左側部材(109L)及び右側部材(109R)を合わせた状態における下端部の左右方向の寸法が、前後方向の寸法よりも小さいこと、特には、左側部材(109L)及び右側部材(109R)の下部が前後方向に沿った平板部(400)を備えている苗移植機により上記問題を解決した。【選択図】図39
