Animal watering stations have a liquid piping system (14), comprising wateringlines (16)with associated drinking valves (21). In such animal watering stations, whenno liquid isremoved by the animals at the drinking valves (21), the liquid is stagnant inthe liquidpiping system (14). This may result in hygiene problems. Moreover, in theknown animalwatering stations it is costly to change the liquid pressure at the drinkingvalves (21) sothat it meets the requirements.The invention calls for providing the liquid piping system (14), in additionto the wateringlines (16), with a supply line (17) for the simultaneous parallel supplying ofliquid to allwatering lines (16) and with a return line (24) for the returning of liquid toa liquid reservoir(26). In this way, on the one hand, a circulation of the liquid can berealized in at leastparts of the liquid piping system (14) and on the other hand the parallelfluidic circuit of thewatering lines (16) enables an easy adapting of the liquid pressure at thedrinking valves(21).
