The present invention relates to the process of developing a larval feed having biologically active microbial product inhibitory to pathogenic vibrios. The spray driedmicrobial product (0.2%) was mixed with other ingredients while developing a micron sized pellet feed. This formulated feed has therapeutic and nutritional value which can be used in the prevention of broad spectrum of bacterial diseases and for better survival rate in fish larvae. The bacteria mentioned above (Pseudomonas aeruginosa MBTDCMFRI Ps04) has proven wide spectrum of antagonistic activity withVibrio harveyi101, V. anguillarum01, V. alginolyticus101, V. vulnificusMTCC1145, V. parahaemolyticusMTCC451and Aeromonas hydrophila.
