PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment composition useful for local treatment of inflammatory diseases of nail such as psoriasis, lichen planus, and atopic dermatitis.SOLUTION: A chitosan-based nail formulation is useful for treating inflammatory disease of nail such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and lichen planus. Chitosan is normally in the form of hydroxypropyl chitosan or the like, preferably the form of a water-soluble amino polysaccharide derivative.
