Chitosan-based nail formulations are useful for nail inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and squamous cell carcinoma. The chitosan is in the form of a water-soluble aminopolysaccharide derivative mainly such as hydroxypropyl chitosan.
