A power supply unit (10) for an aerosol inhaler (1) including a power source (12) capable of supplying electric power to a load (21) capable of generating an aerosol from an aerosol source and a charger (13) capable of controlling charging of the power source (12). The power supply unit 10 includes a power receiving coil 43 that can receive power in a contactless manner, a rectifier 44 that converts AC power into DC power, an AC lead wire 48 that connects the power receiving coil 43 and the rectifier 44, and a rectifier.
