The invention relates to a portable apparatus for administering a gaseous mixture in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of patients. According to the invention, the apparatus (10) comprises at least one cylinder (12) containing a mixture of oxygen, argon and, possibly, other gases, a valve (13) associated with the cylinder (12), which acts as a first pressure reducer of the gas mixture which exits directly from the cylinder (12), a control unit (14) comprising a programmable logic controller (PLC), in which programs and algorithms that control the operation of the apparatus (10) are stored, and a second pressure reducer (16) and a control system (16), both controlled by the PLC, for the flow of gas mixture from the first pressure reducer, delivered by the cylinder (12), wherein the apparatus (10) is capable to deliver to the patient the gas mixture at reduced pressure by means of a mask (17) which can be accommodated in a compartment (18) of the apparatus and wherein the apparatus (10) is configured to operate in such a way that the gas mixture is administered to the patient in three operating modes: a simple mode, an intermediate mode and an advanced mode.Invenţia se referă la un aparat portabil pentru administrarea unui amestec gazos în resuscitarea cardiopulmonară a unui pacient.
