PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cosmetic compositions for keratin substances such as the skin, in O/W emulsion form which can give improved UV protection effect.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a sun care composition, particularly, a sun care composition for makeup, in oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion form having an oil phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, for keratin substances such as the skin, the sun care composition comprising (a) at least one oil, (b) at least one hydrophilic UV shielding agent, (c) water, and (d) at least one emulsifying agent, and the number average diameter of the droplet of the oil phase being less than 200 nm.
