The present invention addresses the problem of providing a production method for an easy to take solid preparation and an easy to take solid preparation or the like which are mainly characterized in that a dry process is used to simply perform coating processing using a gelling agent which facilitates taking of the solid preparation without the involvement of a wet state. The present invention relates to a dry process production method for an easy to take solid preparation which includes directly applying to a mortar inner surface an upper pestle lower end surface and a lower pestle upper end surface only a powder comprising a coating agent including a gelling agent exhibiting slipperiness when brought into contact with water and subsequently loading and integrally compression moudling a core moulding material said method wherein a compression moulded core is coated with the coating agent. The present invention also relates to a solid preparation coating powder composition or the like which is used in the aforementioned production method and which includes a water soluble polymer.
