PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid preparation composition improving the bitter taste of catechin and not producing precipitates.
SOLUTION: The liquid preparation composition is characterized by compounding (a) catechin, (b) histidine or succinic acid or their salts, and (c) pectin or Arabian gum. It is preferable to compound 1 pt.mass of catechin with &ge0.2 pt.mass of histidine or its salt, with &ge0.1 pt.mass of succinic acid or its salt, or with &ge0.5 pt.mass of pectin or Arabian gum.
