PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch for retaining an endoscope during and after a decontamination process and to provide a method of using the same.SOLUTION: The pouch for retaining the endoscope includes a first pouch layer, a second pouch layer attached to the first pouch layer, and a port member coupled to the second pouch layer. The port member is attached to an inner surface of the second pouch layer and includes an internal port member configured to be connected to the endoscope and an external port member attached to an outer surface of the second pouch layer and aligned with the internal port.
