A cushion (10) for respiratory mask having a three-dimensional shape with a central passage (11) for receiving the nose and mouth of a user, said cushion (10) comprising at least a nasal bridge region (15), a chin region (17) and two cheek regions (16), which come into contact with the face of the user. The cushion (10) further comprises an inner membrane (13) and an outer membrane (12) that are superimposed so that the outer membrane (12) covers the inner membrane (13) and is in direct contact with the face of the user (2). The inner and outer membranes (12, 13) are made of a flexible material. The chin region (17) of the inner membrane (13) of the cushion comprises at least a central portion (111) situated between two lateral portions (113), the central portion (111) having a first thickness, for example of 0,4 mm, that is less than the second thickness of said lateral portions (113), for example of 0,8 mm. The cushion of the invention can be mounted on a facial mask useable in a method for treatment of a respiratory disorder or condition, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or similar.
