The present invention relates to a novel broad-spectrum antifungal compound and a broad-spectrum antifungal composition, comprising 3-methyl-1-[[6-(1H-pyrrol-yl)-2-methanesulfonyl-1-phenyl] benzothiazole ]-1Hpyrrole-2ol. The compound or composition can be used in the preparation of broadspectrum antifungal agents for the treatment of severe invasive aspergillosis infection and/or invasive candidiasis caused by fluconazole-resistant Candida (including Candida krusei) and/or severe infections of the foot caused by actinomycetes bacteria and Fusarium. The compounds and compositions described have a wide range of powerful anti-fungal activity, pharmacokinetic properties and low toxicity.
