PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope for allowing an inner wall surface to be visually observed even in a suspended fluid and a system for effectively using the endoscope.
SOLUTION: A hood 2 is provided in such a way as being extended forward further from an outer peripheral part of a tip end of an endoscope body 1. The endoscope body 1 has at least a fluid sending channel 11 and an image pickup channel 12 and has a bending mechanism. The hood 2 is in a cylindrical shape, has an internal diameter for encircling the fluid emitting channel 11 and the image pickup channel 12, and its tip end has an opening which has a shape of a section that diagonally cuts the cylindrical shape as a basic shape. The system uses the endoscope to be synchronized with pulse of the heart, injects a fixed quantity of transparent fluid into the hood at the moment when bloodstream stops, and effectively discharges blood.
