PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve body for a medical device, which has a liquidtight property to a fluid such as a contrast medium, saline or blood at all times, and is capable of improving the liquidtight property and setting sliding resistance with an insert such as guide wire small, and to provide the medical device and a manufacturing method of the valve body for the medical device.SOLUTION: In a valve body 30 disposed in a body lumen part in a Y connector, at an insertion part 34 of the valve body to which an insert is to be inserted, a cut part 35 having a width extending from the insertion center of the insert to the outer side of a radial direction over the entire length extending from a distal end side to a proximal end side is formed.
