PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device and its use for delivering occlusive devices etc. to a target site to create an intra-vascular embolism.SOLUTION: A pusher-occlusive coil delivery assembly 10 can be advanced through a microcatheter to a desired vascular site within a patient. The delivery assembly includes a pushwire 12 which interlocks with an occlusive coil 11 which can be manipulated to detach the occlusive coil. When the delivery assembly is positioned at the site, the pushwire is advanced to allow an interlock joint 14, 15 to move out of a delivery sleeve 13 to release the pushwire and the occlusive coil.【課題】血管腔塞栓症を発生させる標的部位に閉塞愚答を送り出すための医療装置及びその使用法を提供する。【解決手段】プッシャ－閉塞コイルの送出しアセンブリ１０は患者内の所望血管部位に向けてマイクロカテーテルを通り前進せしめられる。この送出しアセンブリは、閉塞コイル１１とインターロックすると共に、閉塞コイルを分離するように操作可能のプッシュワイヤ１２を含んでいる。送出しアセンブリが上述の部位に配置されたとき、プッシュワイヤを前進させてインターロック機構１４，１５を送出しスリーブ１３の外に移動させ、プッシュワイヤ及び閉塞コイルの結合を解く。【選択図】図１
